Youth Development Center (YDC) is a non-profit organization that provides an after-school academic program for at-risk students in grades 1–6 in Houston. YDC is licensed through the Texas Health and Human Services. Our program is provided free of charge to our students.

YDC meets Monday through Thursday of the academic year. Our program provides the following for our students:

• Results-oriented academic development with classrooms supervised by certified teachers

• Leadership training and character development based on Christian values

• Nutritious hot meals

• Transportation from selected campuses to YDC and home at the
  end of the day (within 5-mile radius of YDC campus)

• Field trip opportunities during the school year

• Summer enrichment program
